Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme

Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme Public Register

The Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme (FITS) commenced on 10 December 2018. The purpose of the FITS is to provide the public with visibility of the nature, level and extent of foreign influence on Australia's government and politics.

Under the FITS, individuals and entities must register certain types of activities (registrable activities) that they do on behalf of a foreign principal. We then publish certain information about those activities here on the FITS Public Register to give the public transparency of those foreign interests.

Find out more information about the FITS on the Attorney-General's Department website, opens in a new tab.
