ASPI is receiving the grant from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to independently develop, implement and report on a training programme around the UNGGE process and, in particular, the 2015 report which is tailored to the ASEAN region and endorsed by Australia. ASPI's International Cyber Policy Centre has received grant funding from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Including research grants and funding for a cyber capacity-building program that includes developing and carrying out training sessions and workshops as well as producing progress reports. The aim of the cyber capacity program is to support ASEAN member states with developing and implementing measures consistent with the UNGGE 2015 report’s recommendations, as affirmed by Australia.
