Activity description | PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF AWARD: a. Purpose: University of Western Australia (hereinafter referred to as the Recipient), is hereby provided a federal award, the purpose of which is to: Support the U.S.-Australia Alliance Network Project The Recipient shall carry out the Agreement in accordance with its proposal dated: 09- Sep-2020, and any revisions to which both parties agree to in writing. The Recipient's proposal and any subsequent negotiated revisions are hereby incorporated by reference. b. Objectives and Expected Outcomes: The Recipient agrees to perform the program and meet the specific objectives below: OBJECTIVES: -discuss the contemporary nature of The Alliance -explore agendas for alliance development; and -build networks and partnerships to explore these research fields and foster relationship outcomes from a select group of established, emerging and non-traditional thought leaders. OUTCOMES: -bring together a range of established and early career academics, think tank professionals and non-traditional experts to engage in a dialogue on the current state and future direction of The Alliance -build an engagement network between professionals who are working on issues related to the Alliance -broaden the range of professionals engaged with alliance questions, especially early career academics and new scholars to the field -develop knowledge and information on current and emerging research areas on The Alliance and facilitate the development of research partnerships to develop these agendas -provide a platform for mentoring and networking for early career researchers, emerging young leaders new voices from non-traditional academic backgrounds -provide a pathway for the production of new and original research into the US Australian relationship by the early career researchers |
