Activity description
 The Symposium will convene senior officials, strategic thinkers, academia and the public from Australia, Japan and the broader Indo-Pacific. The program will facilitate expert-led discussion and analysis of the complex defence and security threats in the Indo-Pacific and the future opportunities for Australia and Japan to promote an open and rules-based Indo-Pacific region.
The 2022 Symposium will host two dedicated events: a hybrid (in-person and online) public forum and a private, high-level virtual dialogue in March 2022. The program will bring together a senior group of around 16 senior officials and analysts from Australia, Japan and key regional partners.
