E-mail to local member of parliament and four West Australian senators plus several other private individuals bringing their attention to a resolution of the Fire Commissioners for Franklin Square and Munson Fire District, a district in the New York borough of Queens, calling for a new investigation into the events of 911 and declaring support for the Lawyers Committee for 911 Inquiry's petition to the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York to be presented to a Special Grand Jury to investigate the event. This is the first legislative body in the United States to officially support a new investigation into the events of 9/11. As Commissioner Christopher Gioia said after the unanimous vote: “We were the first fire district to pass this resolution. We won’t be the last.” |
